The Skills program was inspired by a three year six thousand mile voyage taken by Ryan, Sunny, and Saelyn. On that trip, Sunny and Ryan produced videos that explored their adventures as they sailed six thousand miles, through six countries, in search of the life skills that would be necessary to thrive on this quickly changing planet. No longer married, they get along well and co-parent their two sons, Saelyn and Zeb, on the island of Maui in Hawaii.
